1192 is an LP released by Weezer for Record Store Day 2026. It features remixed tracks from the band's first studio demo (colloquially known as "The Real Demo") as well as previously unreleased alternate takes from the same sessions.

Overview

Weezer bassist Matt Sharp discovered a multi-track reel of Ampex tape while archiving old recordings. Sharp and producer Joe Chicarrelli subsequently took the recordings to East/West Studios in Los Angeles and discovered that the tape featured Weezer's earliest studio recordings,[1][2] the band's third demo tape, originally recorded with producer Jon Pikus in November of 1992. With Sharp serving as producer and Chicarrelli as mixer, the two remixed the songs for vinyl using a "100% analog process." Limited to 3000 copies, 1192 (named for the month and year in which it was recorded) was announced on February 4, 2026 with a release date of April 18.
