"B.S." (also known as "Bullshit") is a song by the Special Goodness. It evolved into "You Know I'd Like...".
Overview
Patrick Wilson demoed "B.S." in spring 1999 at his home in Portland, OR.[1] The song was a staple on fall 1999 Special Goodness set lists. Its chord progression is borrowed directly from the Suburban Advantage demo "Let's Go to the Mall".
The verse melody and entire chorus were repurposed for the song "You Know I'd Like...".
Lyrics
When bullshit comes around
There's not much you can do
But get out of the way
And try to let it go by
When bullshit comes around
There's not much you can do
But get out of the way
And try to let it pass
Once it takes you too far, you can't go back
Once it takes you too far, you can't go back again
When bullshit comes around
There's not much you can do
But get out of the way
And try to let it go by
When bullshit comes around
There's not much you can do
But get out of the way
And try to let it pass
Once it takes you too far, you can't go back
Once it takes you too far, you can't go back again
Once it takes you too far, you can't go back
Once it takes you too far, you can't go back again
