Overview
"I Wish You Had an Axe Guitar" is a recorded conversation between Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo and some of his friends as children. Cuomo and future bandmate Justin Fisher talk with a third friend about wanting to start a band. The recording was previously unheard before the album's release.

"A wig you fool."
"An axe guitar with an axe on the end?"
"Yeah, his guitar is like it's...it's shaped like an axe. It's got a blade here and everything."
"See this is the same thing as the other pictures except this thing doesn't have an arm brace."
