"Running Red Lights" is a song from the 2020 album We Will Always Love You by Australian electronic group the Avalanches. Rivers Cuomo and musician Pink Siifu are featured performers on the song, and Cuomo is a credited co-writer alongside Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi (of the Avalanches), Andrew Szekeres (of Midnight Juggernauts), Jeremy Earl and Jarvis Taveniere (of Woods), and the late David Berman (of Silver Jews).
Overview
"Running Red Lights" was added to the APRA songwriting database on February 20, 2020. On March 16, Weezer's official Twitter account retweeted a tweet from the Avalanches' Twitter account on the 13th that read "We have a beautiful song coming for you next week."[1]The song was released on March 18, 2020. The band said, in a statement[2] released alongside the music video:

But Rivers responded to our fuzzed out Spacemen 3 inspired jam with such open heartedness, that we soon dropped all pretense and got down to the heart of the matter... loss. We love that wide eyes, elated, almost evangelical Los Angeles sense of possibility that he tapped into.
