Joe Cunningham is saxophonist who has previously worked with Pat Finn and Amorphous Records.
Overview
Joe Cunningham played alongside Pat Finn in the band Organic Mechanic. They, alongside other bandmates Talbot Guthrie and Norm Buccoloa, performed a number of live shows (occasionally as an opening act for Weezer) and, in 2001, released a single self-titled studio album, Organic Mechanic. This album was the first to be released through the record label of Finn and Karl Koch, Amorphous Records. Cunningham worked with the label again in 2003 when he released an album under the name Sonnyboy, titled Dad Eye. This album also featured Guthrie of Organic Mechanic on percussion, as well as Finn himself on bass for one song.
Cunningham has continued to work with other bands, including 5 Fingers of Funk, the Instigators (both with Guthrie), and the Blue Cranes. He also releases solo music onto his Soundcloud account.
