Sheeny Bang was Rivers Cuomo's personal assistant. Cuomo met her at a party after a solo concert he performed in Cambridge, Massachusetts on November 21, 1997. According to Cuomo, she e-mailed weezer.com in 2001 looking for a job. In September 2002, Bang was the webmaster of the first incarnation of riverscuomo.com in which she blogged about her interactions with Rivers Cuomo on a nearly daily basis. It is believed that Miss Sweeney was written about Bang.
