Overview
Rivers Cuomo recorded an acoustic demo of "Attention Deficit Disorder" at the band's rented office space on September 7, 2003,[1] as a potential track for the band's planned fifth album. Cuomo revisited the song years later, in the years leading up to the release of Weezer's ninth album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End.
The 2003 demo of "Attention Deficit Disorder" one of hundreds of demos leaked onto riverscuomo.com on November 7, 2020. A few days later, on November 11, the song was listed and quickly sold to a user on the site's demo storefront, where it was thereafter shared among fans. That same month, demos of the song were sold as part of the digital compilations Alone IX: The Make Believe Years and Alone XI: The EWBAITE Years.
