"Get 2 Know Ya" is a song written by Rivers Cuomo in collaboration with Josh Alexander and Billy Steinberg.
Overview
Cuomo uploaded a short YouTube clip of three of himself, Alexander, and Steinberg working on the song, dated January 10, 2011. The song was heard by fans at listening parties in the early 2010s, who referred to it thereafter as “Guy with an Eye”, until the song's actual title was extrapolated (from dummy data on the then-unfinished demo storefront on riverscuomo.com) in 2020.
