Lyrics
I hope you find happiness
Sometime before death
Before you breathe your last breath alone
With nobody home and a pain in your chest
Alone with loneliness and
Your happiness
I know you'll find happiness
Before you're laid down to rest
Approach it as a test
Always so much above and with such confidence
Always on top of your game with
Your happiness
Now I never, never knew
What it was you did to me
You must have known it hurt like hell
Let me spell it out for you:
I owe, I owe you nothing
So go get what you missed
You got that summer itch
Now here's what I predict one day:
You will visit like in a movie script
Telling of your lost love and
Your happiness
Your happiness
Your happiness
Demo
I hope you find happiness
Sometime before death
I wonder who you'll find it with
Before you breathe your last breath
Alone with nobody home
And a pain in your chest
Alone with loneliness and
Your happiness
I know you'll find happiness
before you're laid down to rest
No doubt you'll manage this
Approach it as a test
Always so much above
With such confidence
Always on top of your game with
Your happiness
I never, never knew
What it was you did to me
You must have known it hurt like hell
Let me spell it out for you
I owe, I owe you nothing
So go get what you missed
You got that summer itch
And I will try to make some sense
Of what has happened to this
One day, you will visit
Straight from movie scripts
Telling all of your lost lovers
Your happiness
Your happiness
