"Left Foot Down" was recorded by Cuomo in 1999.[1] The song was first heard when it was released as part of the digital compilation Alone VI: The Black Room in 2020. The song's verse melody and chord progression would later be reworked into the unreleased Aly & AJ song "The Next Worst Thing" in 2008.
