"Let Go of Me" (formerly "You've Got to Let Go of Me") is a Rivers Cuomo song originally intended for Make Believe. Demos of the song were released in November of 2020.

Overview
"Let Go of Me" is first known to have been demoed acoustically at Rod Cervera's studio in Los Angeles on August 3, 2003.[1] Rivers Cuomo recorded additional demos at S.I.R. Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles throughout spring of 2004, but was not considered to be one of his "A-list" demos in consideration for Make Believe.
Several demos of "Let Go of Me" were leaked through the demo storefront on riverscuomo.com on November 7, 2020, and were then made available for purchase a few weeks later, on November 22, as part of the digital compilation Alone IX: The Make Believe Years.
