"Memphis" is a demo by Rivers Cuomo.

According to the Weezer Recording History, the song was recorded sometime between the spring and winter of 1999. It seems as if the verse melody was lifted from the demo "Let Me Wash At Your Sink". The song was among hundreds of Cuomo's demos leaked online in November of 2020, and was later released as part of the digital compilation Alone VI: The Black Room in 2020.

Take the train out of Memphis
Hit the booty by 9:00
Looking for something special
And you're so fine, oh-so fine

Gonna take up a cleaver
And drop off all of the beef
Spread it all amongst the fishes
Along the reef, along the reef

So long sugar, but he won't go
So long sugar, but you don't know
So long and I, but you don't know

Wasted time
