Today in Weezer History: 1/2/2001 - 6th day of work on The Green Album. Today work continued at Cello Studios in Hollywood, CA, with with new versions recorded of "No More Disappointments" (never released), "O Girlfriend", "Hash Pipe", "Knock-down Drag-Out", and "Crab", and edit work done on "My Best Friends Are Gone"(later known as "Brightening Day") and "If You Want It"(later known as "Photograph"), and a new recording was started: several takes of the acoustic flavored "Always". Meanwhile the early webisode "The Docket" was posted on weezer.com on this day, touted as a "sequel" to "Scott Stapp's Nightmare", which was released on Jan 1. Today's photo shows Mikey and Brian chillin' with Ric Ocasek. They were probably waiting for their lunch order to arrive.
