Today in Weezer History: 1/18/2001 - On this day in 2001, weezer was in Los Angeles at work on the Green Album. "...recording day 22...Today started with Rivers working on the Wurlitzer keyboard parts on the untitled new song, doing numerous attempts until he nailed it. Then the process of doing all the back up vocals was continued from yesterday, with both Rivers and Brian working all day on their parts..." -karl, writing on weezer.com. Photo shows Mikey, who clearly had some time on his hands today, working the banana phone. Said Mikey: "It's no baloney, it ain't a pony, my cellular bananular phone." #greenalbum #mikeywelsh #ricocasek #bananaphone
