Overview
"Jacked Up" was co-written by Rivers Cuomo with English songwriters Hugh Pescod and Jonny Coffer. The song was played live a few times on the White Album Tour with Panic! At The Disco. The bridge melody was repurposed from the chorus of a Cuomo demo titled "Since You Came Around", which leaked online in November of 2020 and was later released as part of the digital compilation Alone XII: The White Year.
Remix
A remix of the song, featuring Michael "Fitz" Fitzpatrick of Fitz and the Tantrums and Nadya of Pussy Riot, was included as the twelfth track on the deluxe version of The White Album, released on October 7, 2020.
