weezer Had the great pleasure of seeing @officialjackwhite last night in the Huntsville house! Rivers complemented both of his new albums, to which Jack said “I hope my kid was listening to you say that!” (He was) (Major artists being validated in their kids’ eyes via weezer seems to be a thing - Henry Winkler said it first, way back in ‘94!) …The White Stripes shared the stage with weezer at Spaceland on 6/21/00, but they weren’t well known till the following year. And weezer cut a 7” of “Suzanne” in the antique recording booth at Third Man Records several years back (the one of a kind recording is still on their wall! Or at least it was). So it was awesome to connect up with Jack once again, at the very first night of the #indierockroadtrip !! #karlscorner #deadleavesandthedirtyground
