After Ozma's split in 2004, Ryen along with Jose Galvez helped form the band Yes Dear. In 2012, Slegr played guitar and keyboards for Rachel Haden at several shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco in a band with Adam Phaler of Jawbreaker and Warren Defever of His Name is Alive.[1] He has also performed as a member of the band the Rentals, and is credited, alongside Ozma member Daniel Brummel, with co-writing the Weezer song "Eulogy for a Rock Band". Ryen has often been active on Ozma fansites, choosing the name "machatte" on the Ozma Fan Forums, and the name "ozmasoundings" on the Ozma discord server.
