9/02/01 more wee notes

...today the band had a special meeting with the record company to discuss the new songs. They are happy to report that the meeting went really well. While this wont be "for sure" till a lot more details are worked out, everything looks like they've got the green light to release weezer album #4 in May 2002!!

...I've now gotten word that the guys have not heard from Mikey in some time, and having no other option, are preparing to do the upcoming tour without him. Speculative talk of his return to L.A. turns out to be just that: speculation. I wish there was more to tell, but that's all we know at this point.
