Overview
"Sandwiches Time" was first recorded by Cuomo on August 17, 2001. It was later demoed by the entire band several times. Four versions have been released to fans through Weezer.com. The first was recorded at Sage & Sound Studios in Los Angeles, CA on August 30, 2001 as part of the Sage & Sound Demos (often abbreviated "SnS Demos").
The three versions that followed it were recorded in December and January 2002, as a part of the official Maladroit recording sessions. The 12/28 Version does not feature falsetto vocals by Cuomo and also has a different guitar intro. Todd Sullivan was supposedly against the inclusion of "Sandwiches Time" on Maladroit. During a Ustream video chat on June 7, 2011 in Austin, TX, Pat Wilson responded to a fan question regarding the song by saying: "I love Sandwiches Time" and continued to sing the chorus throughout the video[citation needed].

Lyrics
Into another time
You walk along that line
Love me, love me
You do it, you do it
Until you're blue you want it
Ahh
Into another place
You walk along that face
Love me, love me
You do it, you do it
Until you're blue you want it
Ahh
Sandwiches Time
Sandwiches Time
Sandwiches on my mind
Into another place
