It looks like
you were never going to be my queen
It looks like
There are better things that you can be
Ah, if you ever need someone
I'll be there, I'll be there
It looks like
You were never going to hit the road
Such a girl as yourself
Has got some things to know
Ah, if you ever need someone
I'll be there, I'll be there
Take...

Overview
Initial home demos for "She Who Is Militant" were recorded by Rivers Cuomo to an Olympus handheld digital recorder[1] in 2002. Almost immediately after the completion (and prior to the release) of Weezer's fourth album, Maladroit, the band began recording demos for their next album. "She Who Is Militant" is first known to have been demoed during these recording sessions at Westlake Studios in West Hollywood, and it was attempted at various additional studios throughout the year (see Known recordings). These studio demos were shared with fans by the band on weezer.com.
"She Who Is Militant" is one of several songs derived from Catalog O' Riffs entry #369, which underwent several iterations before ultimately culminating in the Make Believe track "This Is Such a Pity".
Lyrics
It looks like
You were never going to be my queen
It looks like
There are too many places that you wanna see
Ah, if you ever need a friend
I'll be there, I'll be there
It looks like
There are other boys that could put on a show
And that's all good
'Cause in time each and every one of them go
Ah, if you ever go your way
I'll be there, I'll be there
I'd like to see you get with it
It's time we settled down and ???
You are
You are
Ah, if you ever go your way
I'll be there
I'll be there
I'd like to see you get with it
It's time we settle down and ???
You are
You are
You are
Drinking forties
Till you pass out in your trailer at five
Running over
All the things that I dropped on you tonight
Ah, what's the point of washing clothes?
Brains need warmth
Hearts need hope
Getting older
Is beginning to give me a panicky feel
Little children
Don't appeal to you and your cowboy ideal
Oh, women go to beauty school
Cash is key
Progress too
I need a tissue for my nose
A kiss or two and then let go
So long
Ah, women go to beauty school
Cash is key
Progress too
I need a tissue for my nose
A kiss or two and then let go
So long
