Overview

"A Glorious Moment" is a spoken word recording from April 15, 1995, the day after Rivers' leg surgery to correct a congenital leg-length discrepancy, which is largely documented in The Pinkerton Diaries and helped influence some of the content from Pinkerton. "It's 5:30 on... the 15th... the day after my operation. Um... I'm, eating saltines, drinking juice. I actually peed... for the first time... on my own. It was... a glorious moment. It was truly glorious. Now I'm going to try to... set up some music to listen to. Goodbye."
