Overview
"High Up Above" made its debut during the BBC Sessions recorded for the Radio 1 show The Evening Session, presented by Steve Lamacq, on June 13th, 2001. The song was subsequently played during live shows throughout June and July of that year. These versions of the song feature an organ. However, when the song was demoed during the Maladroit sessions, the organ was scrapped in favor of a heavier guitar sound.
