...Tonight, half of weezer was at the Hollywood Knitting Factory, where SNMNMNM, AM Radio, and The Special Goodness all played, making for a fantasic show. weezer drummer Patrick Wilson fronts the Special Goodness, and AM Radio is led by old Rivers buddy Kevin Ridel, so Rivers and I came by to check things out. Thanks to all the local Weez fans who came by! I got the feeling a lot of folks found out about the show from the web, and I saw a fair amount of singing along going on, which indicates that people have been checking out the AMRadio and S.G. mp3s! Very cool music all around. Rochester, NY's SNMNMNM got praise for using a tuba for the bass, and laying out some catchy cuts. AM Radio rocked solid and pure with their vocal driven rock that people seem to love to sing along to. Then the Special Goodness just about tore the roof off with the big hard rock n roll riffs and a lack of slack. Sorry if you couldnt make it, 'cos this was a cool night!
