Teaszer bills were always a bizarre mix of glam bands, bar rock bands, morbid looking gothic type bands, and the occasional pop type band like weezer, who today were back to the Teaszer for the 7th time... By now the band was sick of the place, but tonight's show was a special "Rock For Choice" show, intended to somehow encourage people to vote in the upcoming presidential election. Also on the bill were El Magnifico, Sugartooth, Holy Water, and others. El Magnifico sounded sorta like Jane's Addiction but stranger and noisier, and they were friends of Weezers, as the band included Jon Pikus, who engineered Weezer's 3rd (but first well distributed) demo tape which was recorded around this time. Also in the band was Johnny Lonely, who pioneered the "crazy bald pirate with gauged out earlobes and a huge goatee" look before Nick Oliveri from Kyuss/QOTSA did. He was also about as nuts as Nick on stage. Setlist: unknown, aside from Undone, which was noted in Karl's journal as being "good and crazy!"
