...recording day 26...Today we got a call at the studio from a bedraggled Mikey, who had gotten such a bad case of food poisoning the night before that he went to the emergency room thinking his appendix had burst! Fortunately his appendix was fine, but he was out of commission with intense stomach pain until the doctors could help him. Watch out for that sushi, Mikey! He sat out todays studio activity, per doctor's orders. Now, Mikey is known to read the weezer message board, so I bet he'd love to see a "get well soon thread" on there...

Meanwhile, Rivers continued raging away on guitar solos and lead parts, as well as more vocals and some keyboard experiments. Tomorrow Brian comes back in to the vocal booth for a return engagement of backing vocals...
